Outreach
The water and wastewater communities are continuously improving, modifying, and developing new technologies and policies to better serve public health, the economy, and the environment.
NWRI best serves these communities by helping the general public, decision-makers, and other waster/wastewater professionals become aware of these new developments and needs through the following outreach services:
-
Outreach Materials
NWRI supports, develops, and distributes outreach material, such as educational videos and brochures. -
Youth Programs
NWRI participates in youth programs that promote water science and education, such as local science fairs and water festivals. -
NWRI Award of Excellence
NWRI honors exceptional projects around the world that demonstrate leadership in the application of technology to improve water supplies, protect public health, and enhance the value of water.
NWRI has a number of videos on YouTube, including 15 to 20 minute educational videos on particular topics in water (such as desalination and recycling), as well as film footage of presentations given at various NWRI conferences and events.
